Using the links and the CDL Manual below are excellent resources to pass your permit test on your first try.
When taking the test, you will have to be proficient in General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Passenger. Each section has a different amount of questions, and you must score an 80% or better to pass each section. In General Knowledge, you must answer 40 questions correctly out of 50; in Air Brakes, you must answer 20 questions correctly out of 25; and lastly, in Passenger, you must answer 16 questions correctly out of 20.

Tips: You can skip questions on your exam, so if you do not feel confident on a question, skip it, and it will come back at the end if you still need it to pass.
